Date - 15.07.25 Event - Safety Week Celebration 2025 – Day 2 Day 2 of Safety Week at Kerala Public School, Burmamines unfolded with enthusiasm and a strong emphasis on building awareness through creative expression and public speaking. The day’s events highlighted crucial aspects of safety in different spheres of life and encouraged students to think critically and communicate effectively. The day began with an Article Writing Competition for students of Classes 9 and 10 on the topic "Safety at Home and School." Participants shared insightful thoughts and practical suggestions on how simple precautions and responsible behavior can prevent accidents and promote a safer environment both at home and within the school premises. Meanwhile, the budding artists of Classes 3 to 5 took part in a vibrant Poster Making Competition on the theme "Road Safety." Using vivid colors and strong visuals, students creatively portrayed important messages such as obeying traffic rules, crossing roads safely, and the importance of wearing seatbelts and helmets. The posters served as powerful reminders of responsible behavior on the road. To conclude the day, students of Classes 11 and 12 participated in an engaging Speech Competition on Cyber Safety. The speakers addressed key issues such as online privacy, cyberbullying, safe social media practices, and responsible digital citizenship. Their confident and well-informed speeches reflected a deep understanding of the digital world's challenges and the importance of navigating it safely.
