Date - 16.07.25 Event - Safety Week Celebration 2025 – Day 3 (Inter-KPS Safety Week Competitions) Day 3 of the Safety Week Celebration at Kerala Public School, Burmamines witnessed the much-awaited Inter-KPS Safety Competitions, bringing together talented students from five branches of Kerala Public School — KPS Burmamines, NML KPS, KPS Mango, KPS Gamharia, and KPS Kadma. The event provided a vibrant platform for students to showcase their creativity, awareness, and public speaking skills, all centered around the vital theme of Safety. The day featured four main competitions, each designed to focus on different dimensions of safety across age groups: Poster Making Competition (Road Safety) – Classes 3 to 5 Young artists from across the branches impressed the judges with their colorful and impactful visuals promoting road safety. 1st Position – LISHAAN SINGH SARDAR-CLASS5-KPS KADMA 2nd Position – SHRUTI SOREN-CLASS 5-KPS GAMHARIA 3rd Position – ANUSH SAHU-CLASS 5-KPS GAMHARIA Slogan Writing Competition (Fire Safety) – Classes 6 to 8 Students penned powerful and thought-provoking slogans emphasizing fire safety and prevention awareness. 1st Position – AMIT KUMAR SAHU-CLASS 8-KPS KADMA 2nd Position – KAVYA KUMARI-CLASS 8-KPS BURMAMINES 3rd Position – MIZAN SIDDIQUE-CLASS8-KPS MANGO Article Writing Competition (Safety at Home and School) – Classes 9 & 10 Participants expressed insightful views and practical advice through well-structured articles on how to stay safe in daily environments. 1st Position – AIMAN KAUSAR-CLASS 10-KPS MANGO 2nd Position – S. MAROOF KHAN-CLASS 10-KPS MANGO 3rd Position – LAGNESHA JENA-CLASS9-KPS KADMA Speech Competition (Cyber Safety) – Classes 11 & 12 Senior students delivered confident and informative speeches addressing digital safety, online behavior, and cyber threats. 1st Position – SADAF SHAHID-CLASS 11-KPS MANGO 2nd Position – ARSHPREET KAUR-CLASS11-KPS GAMHARIA 3rd Position – ANUSHKA SINGH-CLASS12-KPS BURMAMINES 3rd Position – PALAK KAUR-CLASS 11-KPS MANGO The competitions were judged by a panel of educators who commended all participants for their enthusiasm, awareness, and clarity of thought. The day concluded with the announcement of winners and an encouraging message from the school authorities, praising the collective efforts of all five branches in promoting a strong culture of safety. Day 3 of Safety Week truly reflected the spirit of collaboration, creativity, and commitment to making safety a shared responsibility.
