Date : 14.07.25 Event : Safety Week Celebration 2025 – Day 1 The first day of the much-anticipated Safety Week at Kerala Public School, Burmamines began with enthusiasm and a strong commitment to promoting awareness and responsibility among students. The day was marked by a variety of engaging and informative activities centered around the theme of safety in everyday life. The event commenced with a spirited Safety Song performed by students, setting a vibrant and thoughtful tone for the day. This was followed by an energetic and expressive Safety Dance, choreographed to highlight key messages about personal and public safety. A solemn and inspiring moment came with the Safety Pledge, led by members of the school's Safe Club. Students pledged to follow safety rules at home, school, and in the community, reinforcing their role as young safety ambassadors. To further encourage creative expression and critical thinking, students of Classes 6 to 8 participated in a Slogan Writing Competition on Fire Safety. The entries were both imaginative and informative, reflecting the students’ understanding of fire hazards and preventive measures. Simultaneously, a lively and intellectually stimulating Quiz Competition on Safety was held for students of Classes 6 and 7. The quiz covered a wide range of safety-related topics, including fire safety, road rules, first aid, and emergency preparedness. It was both competitive and educational, fostering awareness through active learning. Overall, Day 1 of Safety Week at Kerala Public School, Burmamines successfully ignited a sense of safety consciousness among students through a blend of creativity, knowledge, and community spirit.
