The final day of Safety Week at Kerala Public School, Burmamines was a vibrant celebration of learning, awareness, and student participation, reflecting the theme of safety in every form—on the road, online, and in daily life. The day began on a high note with a Safety Song, sung by the students with great enthusiasm. The lyrics emphasized the importance of staying alert, following rules, and being responsible citizens. This was followed by a spirited Safety Dance performance, using expressive movements to creatively portray different aspects of safety, from fire precautions to traffic rules. One of the highlights of the day was a powerful Nukkad Naatak (Street Play) on safety. Performed in the school courtyard, the act addressed real-life scenarios such as road safety, cyber awareness, and emergency preparedness. The performance was thought-provoking and well-received by the audience, leaving a lasting impact on students and staff alike. To take safety awareness beyond the school walls, students participated in a Road Safety Awareness Rally. Holding placards and chanting safety slogans, the students marched through the nearby streets, spreading vital messages about wearing helmets, using pedestrian crossings, and obeying traffic signals. The rally drew attention from the local community and successfully raised awareness on road safety. The day concluded with a fun and educational Quiz on Safety for students of Classes 3 to 5. The quiz tested their knowledge on topics such as traffic signs, fire safety, and basic first aid, while also encouraging teamwork and presence of mind. Day 5 brought the Safety Week celebration to a meaningful close, reinforcing the importance of safety in every sphere of life and inspiring students to be more responsible, aware, and proactive. ????
