Date : 18.07.25 Event : Nelson Mandela Day Celebration 2025 @ KPSB Kerala Public School, Burmamines celebrated Nelson Mandela International Day 2025 with great enthusiasm and reverence, paying tribute to the life and legacy of one of the world’s most influential leaders and peacemakers. The event began with a special morning assembly that focused on the values of justice, equality, and service to humanity. A highlight of the celebration was an inspiring speech on the life of Nelson Mandela by Anant Raj of Std. XA. His address reflected on Mandela’s journey from prisoner to president, his fight against apartheid, and his unwavering belief in peace, unity, and human dignity. Following the speech, a poster-making activity on the theme “BE THE CHANGE” was held that conveyed messages of hope, justice, and personal responsibility. The activity encouraged students to reflect on how they can contribute positively to society, just as Mandela did throughout his life. The celebration successfully instilled the spirit of Mandela’s words and actions, reminding everyone that change begins with each individual. The event left students inspired to lead with kindness, courage, and a commitment to making the world a better place.
