Event - World Nature Conservation Day Celebration 2025
Kerala Public School, Burmamines celebrated World Nature Conservation Day with a series of meaningful activities aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices among students.
The day began with a special morning assembly, where the importance of conserving nature and protecting our planet was emphasized. Students and teachers gathered to reflect on the need for collective action in preserving natural resources for future generations.
A tree plantation drive was also organized on the school campus, reinforcing the message of “Save Soil, Save Earth.” Students enthusiastically participated in planting saplings, understanding their role in combating soil erosion and climate change.
Students were also taught proper handwashing techniques to highlight the importance of saving water while maintaining hygiene—a small but significant step toward water conservation.
To further convey the message, several students delivered powerful speeches on energy conservation, sharing practical tips and inspiring their peers to adopt energy-saving habits in daily life.
The event served as a reminder of the role each individual plays in protecting the environment and encouraged the entire school community to take small yet impactful steps toward a greener future.
