Date - 15.08.25 Event - UN@80 Stamp Designing (Department of Post) Kerala Public School, Burmamines, had the privilege of hosting the UN@80 Stamp Designing Event, an initiative by the Department of Posts, Government of India, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the United Nations. The event provided a creative platform for students to express their ideas and aspirations for global peace, unity, and sustainable development — the very ideals championed by the United Nations. Students from various classes enthusiastically participated, creating meaningful and imaginative stamp designs that reflected themes such as world peace, climate action, gender equality, education for all, and international cooperation. The young artists beautifully translated complex global issues into vibrant visuals, showcasing not only their artistic talents but also a deep understanding of the UN’s mission and values. Through their drawings, students conveyed powerful messages of hope, harmony, and a shared global future. The event served as a meaningful tribute to the United Nations' 80 years of fostering international collaboration and promoting global peace. It also encouraged students to think globally and act responsibly, aligning their creativity with global citizenship.
