On the occasion of National Seed Day, the Pre-Primary wing of Kerala Public School, Burmamines celebrated the day with great enthusiasm through a joyful hands-on learning activity centred around seeds. The young learners brought a variety of seeds such as pumpkin, bottle gourd, bitter gourd, tomato, sunflower and capsicum, adding excitement and curiosity to the celebration. Under the guidance of their teachers, the children mixed the seeds with soil to prepare seed bombs, which they happily planted. Through this engaging activity, they observed and understood the process of planting seeds and learned how seeds grow into plants. To further enrich their learning experience, the children also observed different fruits containing seeds and enjoyed eating them during their recess break, making the activity both educational and enjoyable. The celebration helped nurture curiosity, environmental awareness and a love for nature among the young learners, making National Seed Day a meaningful and memorable experience for the Pre-Primary students.
