Primary Nite 2026 - "HARMONIA - The Global Canvas" @ KPS Burmamines under the sub-theme 'The World Fiesta with Mr. India'. Kerala Public School, Burmamines, hosted a delightful and culturally enriching Primary Nite under the theme ‘The World Fiesta with Mr. India’, along with the sub-theme ‘HARMONIA – The Global Canvas’, celebrating unity in diversity and global harmony. The programme beautifully portrayed Mr. India as an ambassador of worldwide peace and cultural integration. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of the school’s Chairman, Dr. Shrikant Nair; Academic Director, Dr. Rachna Nair; Academic Director of KPS Mrs Laxmi R and Principal of Kerala Public School, Burmamines, Ms. Priyanka Barua, along with vice-principals and teachers from various schools. The dignitaries formally inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The evening unfolded with a series of engaging performances, thought-provoking, colourful presentations, and creative displays, all centred on the message of global harmony. The young learners mesmerised the audience with skits, songs, and melodious dance performances representing cultures from across the world, including vibrant Brazilian and Venetian dances and Indian Dance. Addressing the gathering, the Academic Director, Dr. Rachna Nair lauded the students for their enthusiasm and dedication. She remarked, “It is heartening to witness our young learners actively advocating harmony through a rich tapestry of cultures. Their passion and creativity convey a powerful message to the community.” Parents, teachers, and special guests applauded the commendable efforts of the students and appreciated the school’s initiative in nurturing globally aware, peace-loving, and responsible citizens. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Vice Principal, Mrs. Manisha Majumdar, who expressed hope that collective efforts, however small, can foster global solidarity, a shared sense of purpose, and togetherness across the world.
