Commencement Ceremony was organized at Kerala Public School, Burmamines, to bid a heartfelt farewell to the students of Class XII of 2025-26 batch and to mark the successful completion of their school journey and to wish them success in their future endeavours. The ceremony was held in a warm and dignified atmosphere, celebrating the achievements and memories of the outgoing batch.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, the Chairman of the school, Dr. Srikant Nair, in the presence of the Academic Director, Dr. Rachna Nair, Ms. Lakshmi Nair, and the Principal, Ms. Priyanka Barua.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Srikant Nair extended his best wishes to the outgoing students for a bright and successful future. He encouraged them to become responsible citizens by upholding strong ideals and values and also shared valuable tips on effective study methods to achieve academic excellence. The address was followed by a series of vibrant and engaging cultural performances by the students.
The Principal, Ms. Priyanka Barua, conveyed her heartfelt blessings to the students appearing for the Class XII Board Examinations and advised them to always uphold the values and traditions of their alma mater. She presented certificates and mementoes to the students. In an emotional segment of the ceremony, the students shared their cherished memories of school life. The programme also featured a candle-lighting ceremony, during which students conveyed the message of “Tamaso Ma Jyotirgamaya” — from darkness to light.
On this occasion, the following awards were conferred:
* Best Outgoing Student – “A. P. R. Nair Award” : Ayush Kumar Chaudhary (Std. XII A)
* Spirit of K.P.S. Award: Shraddha Acharya (Std. XII B)
Principal’s Awards:
* Excellence in Academics: Siddhi Kumari (Std. XII C)
* Excellence in Sports: Ritik Kumar (Std. XII C)
* Excellence in Co-curricular Activities: Aditi Kumari (Std. XII A)
All the teachers of the school were present on this occasion. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by the Vice Principal, Mr. Gaurav Banerjee. The event was also attended by Vice Principal Ms. Manisha Majumdar and the entire teaching faculty. The Commencement Ceremony served as a meaningful farewell, inspiring the students to step confidently into the next phase of their lives.
