Kerala Public School, Burmamines celebrated Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti with reverence and devotion to honour the birth anniversary of the tenth Sikh Guru and a great spiritual leader, warrior and reformer. The celebration aimed to acquaint students with the life, teachings and values of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The programme featured an enlightening speech by Tr. Manpreet Kaur, who spoke about the ideals of courage, sacrifice, equality and selfless service as preached by Guru Gobind Singh Ji. She highlighted his role in shaping the Khalsa Panth and inspired students to follow the path of truth, righteousness and bravery in their daily lives. To enhance students’ understanding, a documentary video on the life and contributions of Guru Gobind Singh Ji was shown in the classes. The visual presentation helped students connect with his inspiring journey and noble teachings in a meaningful way. The celebration concluded with a sense of respect and admiration, encouraging students to imbibe the values of discipline, unity and compassion exemplified by Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
