Kerala Public School, Burmamines commemorated Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti (Parakram Diwas) with reverence and patriotic fervour to honour the life and legacy of one of India’s greatest freedom fighters. The celebration featured an enlightening speech by Sir Somnath Bera, who spoke about the indomitable spirit, visionary leadership and supreme sacrifices of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Through his address, he inspired students to draw strength from Netaji’s ideals and to uphold the principles of unity, determination and national pride in their lives. To further deepen students’ understanding, a documentary video on the life and contributions of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was screened in the classes. The visual presentation effectively highlighted key moments of his struggle for India’s freedom and left a lasting impression on young minds. The programme instilled a deep sense of patriotism among the students and inspired them to pledge to follow the path of integrity, bravery and dedication exemplified by Netaji, making the celebration truly meaningful and inspiring.
