Tobacco Prevention Awareness Campaign was organized at Kerala Public School Burmamines with the objective of educating students about the harmful effects of tobacco and promoting a healthy, addiction-free lifestyle. As part of the campaign, the school displayed informative and impactful posters across the campus highlighting the dangers of tobacco consumption. These visual messages created awareness among students about the serious health risks associated with smoking and other forms of tobacco use, including life-threatening diseases and long-term health complications. The displays served as constant reminders of the importance of making wise and responsible choices. To further engage students meaningfully, a quiz competition on tobacco awareness was conducted. The quiz covered topics such as the health hazards of tobacco, laws related to tobacco control, and the social consequences of addiction. Students participated enthusiastically, demonstrating their awareness and eagerness to learn more about the issue. The activity not only enhanced their knowledge but also encouraged critical thinking and informed decision-making. Through these initiatives, the school successfully promoted the message of a tobacco-free lifestyle and reinforced its commitment to nurturing responsible and health-conscious citizens. The campaign proved to be an effective step towards spreading awareness and encouraging students to choose health over harmful habits.
