Kerala Public School, Burmamines observed National Pollution Control Day and paid solemn tribute to the victims of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy with a series of meaningful activities aimed at creating awareness among students. As part of the observance, students attended a documentary viewing that highlighted the events of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy, its impact on lives, and the importance of industrial safety. This was followed by an awareness session where students were sensitised about pollution control, environmental protection, and the collective responsibility we share in ensuring a safer planet. To reinforce their commitment towards a cleaner environment, students took a Pollution Control Pledge, promising to adopt eco-friendly habits, reduce waste, conserve resources, and spread awareness about environmental safety. The programme successfully instilled a sense of responsibility in students, reminding them of the lessons from the past and inspiring them to work towards a pollution-free and sustainable future.
