Kerala Public School, Burmamines celebrated World Earth Day with great enthusiasm, fostering a sense of environmental awareness and responsibility among students. The programme was conducted by the school’s "Nature Ninjas" Club under the guidance of the teacher in-charges, Ms. Manisha Srivastava and Mrs. Sweta Kumari, who led the celebration with dedication and creativity. Aligned with this year’s Earth Day theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” the event comprised a series of meaningful activities. An informative Earth Day presentation highlighted the importance of protecting our planet and adopting sustainable practices. Students and staff members also participated in a tree plantation drive within the school premises, promoting the message of a greener and healthier environment. An Earth Day pledge was administered, where everyone collectively committed to preserving nature and acting responsibly towards the environment.
