The students of Std. VI A and VI B participated in an experiential learning visit to the School Garden under the CBSE Kaushal Bodh programme. The activity aimed to develop practical skills, environmental awareness, and a sense of responsibility towards nature. Under the guidance of their Class Teachers, Tr. Lakshmi (VI A) and Tr. Neha (VI B), the students explored the garden and observed a variety of plants, herbs, and seasonal vegetables. They were introduced to basic gardening techniques such as soil preparation, watering, weeding, and the use of organic manure. The students also learned about plant care, different types of plants, and the importance of gardening for a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. The hands-on experience allowed students to connect classroom learning with real-life practices. They actively participated in simple gardening tasks and showed great enthusiasm throughout the activity. The visit was both informative and enjoyable, helping students understand the importance of caring for the environment and nurturing green spaces.
