Students of Std. VIII from Kerala Public School, Burmamines actively participated in a Workshop on Social and Cross-Cultural Skills under Tata Education Excellence Programme (TEEP), held at Kerala Samajam Model School. The workshop aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of diverse cultures, effective communication, and the importance of social adaptability in today’s global environment. The participants — Ananya Ray (VIII A), Aditya Kumar Pandit (VIII B), Ayushi Agarwal (VIII B), Divya Gupta (VIII C), and Ashwin Singh (VIII D) — engaged enthusiastically in various interactive sessions, group discussions, and activities designed to build interpersonal and cross-cultural competencies. The workshop provided them with valuable exposure to different perspectives, helping them develop respect, empathy, and collaborative skills. The students were guided by Teacher In-charge, Ms. Rochelle Anthony, whose support and encouragement played a key role in their active involvement and learning experience. The participation proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience, equipping students with essential life skills for effective social interaction in a multicultural world.
