Kerala Public School, Burmamines, organized a five-day Recyclables Collection Drive in collaboration with Koru foundation, Jamshedpur as part of the Earth Day 2025 Celebration. This year's Earth Day theme, "Our Power, Our Planet," highlights the crucial role that children and youth play in protecting and restoring our environment. It encourages collective action toward building a better, safer, and greener future. Here’s the schedule we followed during the collection drive: * Day 1 (15th April): Toys, hard plastics, and stationeries * Day 2 (16th April): E-waste * Day 3 (17th April): Oil and milk packets * Day 4 (21st April): Bottles * Day 5 (22nd April): Metal cans We are proud to share that our students enthusiastically participated by bringing the specified recyclables on each designated day. All collected items were then submitted to the Koru Foundation for proper recycling and disposal. Thank you for your active involvement in making a positive environmental impact.
